Bio
Definitely, definitely not a collection of mischievous raccoons in a wonky human suit.
Carrie is a storyteller and artist with a curiosity issue and driving need to create.
She strives to create work that is both entertaining and, in some fashion, illuminating. If something she creates can educate or broaden a mind - the way countless books and works of art and films have done for her - then she marks it as having made good art.
When she isn’t creating, she can be found reading*, learning new things**, attending the cinema solo***, and traveling.
Footnotes
*She is definitely not reading Tolstoy. (She did that in AP Lang and has regrets.) She’s reading Webtoons, genre fiction, screenplays, and spending an alarming amount time down research rabbit holes reading articles like, ‘How Etruscans reached the afterlife: orgasm, blood, and erotic dance’
**Please read as: “being a nerd due to her curiosity issues and inherent need to know things about stuff so that she can regurgitate them to unsuspecting citizens at a later date”
***Carrie has very specific movie-going needs. Those needs include sitting in the middle of the room, center or slightly above center screen, a mostly empty theatre, a bottle of water, an oversized hoodie, and a snack. It really isn’t that much to ask for.
